Eagles finish strong

The high powered EWU offense only had 3 first half possessions, but led UC-Davis 9-6 at the half. The Eagles got 4 touchdowns in the 2nd half on their way to a 37-14 win. Eastern is now 1-0 in Big Sky play and 4-1 overall.

Trailing Montana State by 7 points with less than two minutes remaining, Vernon Adams, Jr. led the Eastern Washington University Eagles on a 75 yard touchdown drive and capped it off with a 2 point conversion to put EWU on top with the eventual winning score, 52-51. RB Quincy Forte rushed for 190 yards and 4 TDs while WR Cooper Kupp added 9 catches for 152 yards and 2 scores.

ESPN’s Mike Sando talked to Patchin, Lukens and Osso about the big game between the Seahawks and Broncos.
