The EWU Eagles had a 27-3 lead at halftime and went on to beat the University of Montana Western Bulldogs, 41-9.

Patchin, Lukens and Osso talked with the General Manager of the Texas Rangers, Jon Daniels, as the Rangers have entended their player development agreement with the Spokane Indians through the 2016 season. The Indians also announced that they’ll host an All-Star Game on August 4, 2015 at Avista Stadium between the NWL All-Stars and their counterparts from the eight-team Pioneer League in the first meeting between the leagues.


It was the first NCAA football game of the year and the two teams didn’t disappoint. The Eastern Washington Eagles and the Sam Houston State Bearkats opened the college football season in Cheney with the Eagles winning, 56-35. The game featured over 1100 yards of offense. Vernon Adams passed for 302 yards and 4 touchdowns. Quincy Forte rushed for 152 yards and Jalen Moore added 86 yards and two scores.
