Vernon Adams, Jr. passed for 309 yards and two scores. Cooper Kupp had 147 receiving yards and one touchdown. Shaq Hill returned a kickoff 90 yards for a TD. Tevin McDonald had a fumble recovery, a forced fumble and a 73 yard pick-6.

QB Vernon Adams returned from his foot injury and helped lead the Eagles to a big victory over rival Montana, 36-26. “Big Play VA” threw for 399 yards and 4 touchdowns after missing the last 4 weeks. Cooper Kupp had 8 catches for 134 yards and 1 touchdown receiving and he also had a 67 yard punt return for touchdown. The Eagles remain tied for the Big Sky lead at 6-1 in conference, they are 9-2 overall with a bye week next week.

The Eastern Washington University football team got back to their winning ways after a loss last week. Quarterback Jordan West threw for 314 yards and two touchdowns in his fourth career start. Cooper Kupp had 111 receiving yards and a touchdown. The Eagle defense held North Dakota to only 37 passing yards and got three interceptions, including a pick-6 from Moe Roberts. EWU now has a 17 game November winning streak. They are 8-2 on the season, 5-1 in Big Sky play with Montana coming to Cheney next week.
