The Eastern Eagles struggled a bit in the rain in Portland, but still pulled out a 41-34 victory over the Portland State Vikings. The victory, coupled with the Cal-Poly win over Northern Arizona, gave the Eagles not only a share of the Big Sky title, but also the automatic berth into the FCS playoffs.

This was a game of “doubles” for Eastern. Demetrius Bronson had 2 rushing touchdowns. Nicholas Edwards had 2 receiving touchdowns. Kyle Padron had 2 rushing touchdowns. Zach Johnson had 2 interceptions, and Brandon Kaufman had 2 amazing catches off deflections.

Here are the audio highlights from game as heard on the home of Eastern athletics, 700 ESPN, with Larry Weir and Paul Sorensen.
