No Shave November

700ESPN is taking part in No Shave November this year, and you can be a part of the action. The guys won’t be shaving for the month to help raise awareness for men’s health and you have two ways to take part. One is go to our website at 700espn.com, or the sports section of KXLY.com and click on the click to donate button.

The other way is by uploading a photo of your beard to our facebook page at 700espn. People can vote for your photo through likes and comments throughout the month of November.

Official Rules:

Contest begins 1 November 2013 and ends 29 November 2013 at 12pm. Listeners are invited to enter online at the 700 ESPN Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/700espn, by going to http://www.facebook.com/700espn and clicking on the NoShave November Facebook Contest App (Desktop Link: http://www.facebook.com/700espn/app_638184042911358 Mobile Link: http://www.socialnewsdesk.com/facebook/contesttabiframe.aspx?id=1025) and following the directions describing how to post a picture of themselves showing their beard (Note: The picture must be of the person submitting the photograph and not that of someone else. KXLX and the KXLY Radio Broadcast Group staff reserves the right to refuse any photograph which they deem innapropriate or unacceptable.). Once submitted, and approved by a member of the KXLX (an affiliate of the KXLY Radio Broadcast Group) staff, the picture will then appear on the 700 ESPN Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/700espn, and be available for voting. Voting will consist of listeners either “Liking” or Making a Comment on the pictures submitted for the contest. At the conclusion of the contest, the picture with the most combined “Like’s” and “Comments” will win the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winner will receive a 3 Pack of Bottles of Beard Oils from Beardbrand valued at approximately $75. The picture’s with the second and third most combined “Like’s” and “Comment’s” will each win 1 Bottle of Beard Oils from Beardbrand valued at approximately $25. All entries must be received by 29 November 2013 at 12p.m. The winner does not need to be present at the time of the drawing to win. The drawing will take place at the KXLY Radio Broadcast Center in Spokane, WA (426 West Boone Avenue, Spokane, WA 99201. Note: KXLX is an affiliate of The KXLY Radio Broadcast Group.) on or around 29 November 2013. The odds of winning depend on the total number of entries. Contestants must fully complete the entry form in order to be considered a finalist. No mechanically or mass produced entries will be accepted. KXLX, the KXLY Radio Broadcast Group and affiliated sponsors are not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries. Winner will be called and notified that they have won the prize. Winner will then be given instructions regarding how to claim their prize. Winner must provide name, address, phone number and date of birth in order to collect prize(s). Identification may be required.

2. Employees, interns, and independent contractors of KXLX, the KXLY Radio Broadcast Group, affiliated sponsors, and employee affiliates and their immediate families and significant others or employees of participating trades are not eligible to enter or participate in the use or enjoyment of any prize.

3. All winners must be at least 18 years of age and must be US citizens. Winners must reside within the designated market. All entrants must be a legal resident of the state of Washington, Idaho, Oregon or Montana. If the winning entrant is found to be live outside the specific region they will subsequently be disqualified and a new winner will be chosen. Non-compliance with rules may result in disqualification.

4. Prizes are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash. No substitutes of prize will be permitted. Only one winner per household per promotion will be permitted.

5. KXLX, the KXLY Radio Broadcast Group and affiliated sponsors are not liable for the failure of any third-party prizes. KXLX (an affiliate of the KXLY Radio Broadcast Group) also reserves the right to not award 3rd party prizes to contestants who have, in KXLX (an affiliate of the KXLY Radio Broadcast Group) sole judgment, failed to comply with terms of previous contests run by KXLX (an affiliate of the KXLY Radio Broadcast Group).

6. Winner is responsible for all local, state, and federal applicable taxes, meals, all gratuities and incidental expenses arising from this contest.

7. By participating in this contest, contestants grant KXLX (an affiliate of the KXLY Radio Broadcast Group) permission and the right to publicize and/or broadcast contestants name, character, likeness, voice, and fact that he/she has participated in or won a KXLX (an affiliate of the KXLY Radio Broadcast Group) contest without any additional compensation.

8. Decision of KXLX (an affiliate of the KXLY Radio Broadcast Group) judges are final.

9. By accepting any prize, winner releases KXLX (an affiliate of the KXLY Radio Broadcast Group) from any and all liabilities associated with said prize.

10. By participating in this contest, each entrant unconditionally agrees to abide by these rules. KXLX (an affiliate of the KXLY Radio Broadcast Group) reserves the right to change the rules or discontinue the contest at any time without notice.
