Keith Osso talked to Head Coach Andy Olson, QB Erik Meyer and LB Terence Moore after the win.

The Spokane Shock season didn’t start exactly the way they wanted it to. Shock quarterback Erik Meyer fumbled in the end zone on the Spokane’s first offensive play, resulting in an Iowa Barnstormers safety. But the 2013 AFL MVP bounced back quickly and the Shock found their rhythm. Meyer ended the night with 7 total touchdowns, 5 passing and 2 rushing. Adron Tennell caught 3 of those TDs to help lead Spokane to a 64-35 victory. Terrance Sanders proved why he is known as “Mr. Electricity” by returning a missed Iowa field goal attempt at the end of the first half for a touchdown. The Shock play division rival Arizona next weekend.
