The Spokane Chiefs won the first overall selection in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft at the draft lottery on Wednesday, 3/25/15, in Calgary. Patchin, Lukens and Osso talked to Tim Speltz, Chiefs GM, about what he will do with the pick.

The Spokane Chiefs open the home portion of their schedule on Saturday, September 27th. Patchin, Lukens and Osso talked to Chiefs’ defenceman, Jason Fram before the game.

He’s from Spokane, he played for the Spokane Chiefs and now he’s in the NHL playing for the Tampa Bay Lightning. He is Tyler Johnson and he is putting on an event at Frontier Ice Arena on July 11th. The list of former NHL players scheduled to appear includes Wayne Gretzky and Brett Hull. All proceeds benefit the non-profit ice arena and local youth hockey. Tickets go on sale Monday, June 23rd. Spokane native and former Spokane Chiefs center, Tyler Johnson, is now having great success in the NHL as a member of the Tampa Bay Lightning. Johnson has 17 goals and 20 assists in 58 games this season. He talked to Patchin, Lukens and Osso as the NHL takes a break for the Winter Olympics.
